FIND YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC VOICE
If you are looking to take pictures of the Burj Khalifa from the best view point, then i'd probably read no further. This workshop isn't about following in others footsteps and recreating what has been done and posted a thousand times over. It also isn't about the million settings on your camera and its technical capabilities. And it certainly ignores those who say a great picture must be tack sharp or perfectly exposed. The perfect photo after all has everything to do with intention and the story you want to tell.
This workshop is about opening yourself up to self discovery and who you want to be as a photographer. It's about discovering the stories you want to tell, why you want to tell them and how. It's about connecting with the world around us and helping others connect with it too. It's about learning how to see. But most importantly it's about the enjoyment of walking the streets and clicking the shutter, or as the legend Joel Meyerowitz often says, it's the act of saying 'yes' to the world every time you press the button.
I've been in the creative industry for over 25 years and storytelling has been at the heart of what i do. Put on some comfortable shoes, charge up plenty of batteries and come walk with me. Let's talk photography and inspire each other to make great images.

8HRS (9-6pm) - Shiftable if we want to do more night time , something we can discuss.
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
1 - We will meet in either Deira, Karama or Satwa and for a bit just chat about you and the day ahead. What do you want to achieve? Expectations? Why we will be walking in a particular direction? What you can/can't shoot? Some basic camera setup advice that will help you focus on making images rather than fiddling with settings.
2 - Let's go and shoot, cos we're not going to progress drinking coffee.
3 - Talk about the day, moving forward, how to find inspiration aplus any other questions you might have.
